Full-Time Emergency Medicine
Campbellford Memorial Hospital is seeking rural-focused Emergency Medicine physicians to join our team.
CMH’s Emergency Department offers the opportunity to practice broad-scope rural emergency medicine in a collaborative, well-supported environment. Physicians work independently as the most responsible provider, with strong clinical backup and experienced nursing support.
Our ED sees approximately 20,000 visits per year and is supported by:
- EPIC EMR (live since December 2021)
- On-site CT Scanner
- Dedicated Physician Assistant support
- 24-hour Laboratory Services
- Experienced and highly skilled Nursing team
- Orientation shifts available
A full-time commitment consists of approximately 10–12 shifts per month, allowing for a sustainable balance while maintaining continuity within the department.
Physicians must be licensed to practice medicine in Ontario. CFPC-EM designation and recent Emergency Department experience are preferred, along with confidence in a rural solo-provider model.
Trent Hills is a ROS-eligible and High Needs Area community, making full-time Emergency Medicine physicians eligible to apply for up to $80,000 over four years through the Ministry of Health’s Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (NRRRI).
Teaching and leadership opportunities are available for those interested in contributing beyond clinical practice.
