The CMH Auxiliary plays a vital role in supporting patient care at Campbellford Memorial Hospital by fundraising for high-priority medical equipment. Each year, the Auxiliary selects an item from the Hospital Wish List and organizes a variety of projects and events to help purchase the equipment that directly benefits our patients and community. Typically, the Auxiliary hosts four to five major events annually, along with several smaller fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

Auxiliary events rely on a team effort. Whether it’s the Fashion Show, the Christmas Café & Bazaar, Tag Days, or cheering on participants at the Polar Bear Plunge, every role—big or small—helps make a difference. The Hospital Gift Shop is also operated entirely by Auxiliary volunteers, and additional help for monthly shifts is always appreciated.

New members are warmly welcomed. Volunteering with the Auxiliary is a meaningful way to support your local hospital, meet new people, and have fun while contributing to important community-driven projects. There’s truly a place for everyone, with opportunities to help in ways that match your interests, skills, and availability.

If you’re interested in joining or learning more, membership information is available through the Hospital Gift Shop, or by contacting the Membership Convener via the Gift Shop. Guests are always welcome to sit in and learn more about what the Auxiliary does and how they make an impact.
