Gabriella Budani, RD

Gabriella (Gabby) Budani brings a strong culinary background to her role as a Registered Dietitian at Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH). With 15 years of experience as a chef and cook, she trained in French cuisine at St. Lawrence College in Kingston and earned her Red Seal certification. Gabby worked in a variety of restaurants before opening her own healthy fast-food restaurant, Nourished on the Go, in Oshawa, Ontario.

Driven by a passion for helping people achieve their nutrition goals, Gabby earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food at Toronto Metropolitan University, followed by a Professional Master’s Diploma in Dietetics. She has worked as a dietitian in long-term care and gained extensive clinical training in acute care at North York General Hospital (general medicine and mental health) as well as in outpatient care for diabetes and eating disorders.

At CMH, Gabby works alongside Amberley in the Diabetes Education Program and also provides nutrition care for inpatients and for community members through the Nutrition Clinic. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered nutrition therapy and supporting the health and well-being of the CMH community.

Amberley Clark, RN, BScN, CDE
Diabetes Education Coordinator

Amberley Clark is a Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Educator and Certified Pump Trainer who has been working in diabetes education since 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University and achieved her Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) designation in 2007.

Amberley brings nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals living with type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes across hospital, community, virtual care, and industry settings. Drawing from her own lived experience with type 1 diabetes, she brings a unique level of insight and empathy to her work. Her clinical expertise includes insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and intensive insulin management. She has extensive experience providing both individualized and group education, as well as training healthcare professionals.

In her role as Diabetes Education Coordinator at Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Amberley leads program development and delivery, with a focus on evidence-based care, patient empowerment, and improving access to diabetes technology and education.
