Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) has unveiled newly upgraded sleep rooms for its Emergency Department physicians, further solidifying its commitment to supporting locum physicians who play a crucial role in providing 24/7 emergency care to rural and northern communities like Trent Hills.

The newly upgraded sleep rooms include fresh new floors, renovated bathrooms, technology upgrades like charging stations and smart TVs, a stocked minifridge, and a coffee bar. These enhancements aim to offer locum physicians a space where they can rest and recharge between shifts.

"Our locum physicians are an integral part of our healthcare team, and their dedication to serving our community is invaluable," said Peter Mitchell, Community Relations Manager at Campbellford Memorial Hospital. "These individuals often travel long distances, helping us fill gaps in our emergency department schedule. By upgrading our sleep rooms, we are not only showing our appreciation for their hard work and dedication, but also prioritizing their well-being. Ensuring our locum physicians have a comfortable space to rest and recharge between shifts is essential for maintaining their physical and mental health, allowing them to continue delivering optimal care to our patients."

Campbellford Memorial Hospital extends its sincere appreciation to all locum physicians for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving their communities.
