Campbellford Memorial Hospital is committed to providing local diagnostic imaging services to the community
Our team of professional radiologists, technologists and clerical staff are fully trained to provide you with the best possible care. Our staff include:
Radiologists – Specialized physicians who perform X-ray procedures and interpret X-ray images.
Medical Radiation Technologists (Radiography) – Licensed by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario, they are trained to perform examinations in General Radiography, CT, BMD and/or Mammography.
Sonographers – Certified by the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals, they are trained to perform Ultrasound and/or Echocardiography examinations.
To book an appointment, your doctor will fax a requisition to the Booking Department who will notify you of the date and time of your appointment. We do accept walk-ins for x-rays only but you must have a requisition signed by your physician in hand. Evening and weekend appointments are also available. Diagnostic Imaging is located on the main floor behind the Emergency Department - follow the red squares.
We offer the following services:
- Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD)
- CT (Computerized Tomography)
- Echocardiograms
- Fluoroscopy Stomach and Bowel Exams
- General Radiology (X-rays)
- Mammography and Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP)
- Ultrasound
CMH utilizes a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) with the provincial data image repository (HDIRS) this increases the efficiency of the imaging department as the radiologist can access images at any time for better patient care.
Your personal health information will be disclosed only to care providers involved in your personal care unless you have expressly withheld or withdrawn your consent to do so. Examples of care providers may include your attending doctor, nurses, family doctor or specialists.
