This service is offered upon referral from your doctor. It is recommended for diagnosing patients in whom there is a clinical suspicion for white coat hypertension as well as evaluating the effectiveness of blood pressure medication. You wear a blood pressure cuff which is attached to a small portable monitor and it records your blood pressure every 30 minutes over a 24 hour period. There is a fee of $50.00 for this service which is not covered by Ontario insurance.
